It is believed that these vines have not been pruned or treated for the last two decades, resulting in extremely low yields with concentrated flavours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMerweh is a resistant variety which has adapted very well to the Mediterranean mountain climate and ecosystem.
