Bargylus Wines from Syria are among the most unique and acclaimed wines in the Levant. Produced in Syria’s ancient coastal region of Latakia, these wines are cultivated on the slopes of the Jebel Al-Ansariyah mountains, overlooking the Mediterranean. The vineyard's distinctive terroir, with its limestone-rich soil and temperate climate, infuses each bottle with depth and complexity.

Bargylus produces both red and white wines, each marked by a balance of power and elegance. The red wines, typically crafted from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, offer notes of dark berries, spices, and earthy undertones. Their whites, often featuring Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, display crisp acidity with hints of citrus, floral notes, and a mineral finish. These wines not only showcase the resilience and artistry of Syrian winemaking but also offer a rare taste of the Levant’s ancient wine traditions, capturing a spirit of heritage and dedication in every glass.
